Source: Gained by break down of Coconut oil fats.  Occurs in all natural fats as a polyvalent alcohol.

Effect: Boosts moisture levels and helps smooth skin.  The Glycerin we use is always vegetable-derived.  A great moisturising ingredient that binds water to it (humectant) and therefore helps your skin to retain moisture.  Extensively studied and one of the best moisturising ingredients around.  Glycerin is an effective skin softener and gives the product natural sweetness.

Our Glycerine is 100% plant based, not animal derived.
